What you’ll do:

• SW Foods is hiring for a Warehouse Runner specifically for our Will Call position! This position is to assist in the management of foodservice warehouse inventory and receiving in a timely efficient way that is most beneficial to all aspects of operations.

  • Performs all warehouse Runner - Will Call duties according to the Will Call process.

  • Load customer vehicles safely with product.

  • Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming stock.

  • Ensure that orders are accurate.

  • Stages items correctly for pick up.

  • Operates pallet jack/reach truck equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed.

  • Plans and monitors product storage.

  • Ensures warehouse goals are met.

  • Maintains a high level of health and safety standards.

  • Shrink wraps products to pallets if necessary.

  • Packs warehouse orders as necessary.

  • Works in varying temperatures from -30F – 95F.

  • Operates scanners so that the inventory is properly placed and accounted for to be managed accurately.

  • Cleans aisles of warehouse and dock.

  • Performs other general warehouse duties as needed.

  What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must report to work on time and have a good attendance history

  • Basic knowledge on how to operate a double pallet jack

  • Basic knowledge of route delivery.

  • Able to read & understand an invoice.

  • Safe driving habits & driving record & acceptable MVR, able to lift 50+ pounds on a continuous basis.

  • Superb customer service attitude.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience working in warehouse preferred

  • Experience working with RF scanner preferred 

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Ability to lift heavy objects. 

  • Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time; positive attitude; self-motivated; active.

  • Safety conscious; ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment. 

  • Good communication skills; ability to work well on a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.

  Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing 40-60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures from -30F – 95F
